How far is too far?

This group of 8 and 9 year-old girls are no doubt great dancers but the choice of revealing costumes and provocative dance moves has me questioning whether their parents saw the routine before it was presented at competition. Some of them I'm sure would not be too keen on letting their daughter participate in a dance routine that is totally inappropriate for her age group.

Sound off in the comments below. How far is too far?

A story about this dance routine was run on Entertainment Tonight. Their parents and a representative all said that the moves these girls were doing are legit dance moves. I don't doubt that but the moves featured at 1:45 all the way to the end were far too mature for this age group, in my opinion.

  1. Those are the same parents who say, "I don't know what happened" when their young teenage daughter gets pregnant or contracts an STD.

  2. Exactly! Parents need to be more aware of what their kids are doing. No wonder the percentage of teen pregnancies is so high in this country. Stuff like this isn't the only factor but it sure is a big one.

  3. At that age I don't know if the girls know how sexual that was. I applaud their talent. That can't be easy for little girls to do. But, the person I'm mad at is the person that had them perform that. This person has one or more of the following 1. no shame 2. no morals 3. no brain.

  4. There was a story on Entertainment Tonight and the parents said that those dance moves are legit but since when do you have little girls doing pelvic thrusts?
